"Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking." — Miranda Priestly, The Devil Wears Prada
Flowers seem to be forever synonymous with spring. Whenever people talk about spring, flowers are always brought up. And let's be honest, nowadays, flowers are more like a trend. "Hey, have you gone to check out the cherry blossoms yet?" It has become the quintessential springtime icebreaker in Taiwan. However, whether you are a flower person or not, you have to acknowledge that flowers do make people feel energetic and cheerful.
Flowers are not just for photography or bragging about. Just as nature undergoes a silent reset in winter to bloom in spring, I believe every human needs those "floral moments" to recalibrate their inner compass. When I find myself stuck in a routine, just immersing myself in flowers helps me recharge and reignite my creativity. I mean, just looking at those tiny little cuties, how can anyone not be in a good mood, right? That is nature's superpower.
If inspiration is the bloom, then our daily experiences—no matter how mundane—are the pollen carried by the bees of time, quietly preparing us for the next "groundbreaking" season. So, this spring, let's try to enjoy flowers from a whole new angle. Stop chasing the trend, and start finding your own floral path, literally and figuratively.
